Follow the Progress of the Castle Project

27. November 2018 | Nyborg Castle

Keep an eye on the Castle Project from the info pavilion, and see finds from the restoration work and the archaeological digs.

Get updated on the Castle Project in the info pavilion. There are changing exhibitions with finds from the archaeological excavations, examples of materials used in the restoration of the castle and much more.

Read about the Castle Project in a poster exhibit and take the opportunity to delve into the small library available there, with literature about Nyborg Castle and other interesting material.

Ask a Castle guide

The info pavilion will be manned with the museum’s trained castle guides, so it will be possible to ask questions about the Castle Project and about Nyborg Castle’s history.

Outside of opening hours

Even outside of opening hours, you’ll still be able to enjoy the pavilion, since some of the information is placed outdoors. In addition, you’ll be able to see display cases with exhibited objects through the big windows, and there will also be a wide screen TV in the info pavilion, visible from outside, with pictures and the latest news from the Castle Project.

Groups can gain access to the pavilion outside these opening hours by contacting the Museums of Eastern Funen.
