Follow the Progress of the Castle Renovation from the Info Pavilion

26. October 2018 | Nyborg Castle

Friday, Sept. 28, the Castle Project will open its info pavilion. Here you’ll be able to follow the work of the Castle Project through a variety of exhibitions.

Halfway down Stendamsgade St., with its fine view of the moat, you’ll be able to get updates and information about the Castle Project. There will be changing exhibitions with finds from the archaeological digs, samples of materials used for restoration and much more.

In the pavilion, you’ll be able to see a poster exhibit about the Castle Project, and you’ll have the chance to browse in a small library with literature about Nyborg Castle and other interesting material.

The info pavilion will be manned, so you’ll be able to ask questions about the project. The pavilion will be open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 2:00-4:00 PM and on Saturdays from noon - 2:00 PM. Groups can get access to the pavilion at other times if they contact the Museums of Eastern Funen.

Even outside opening hours, you can still enjoy the info pavilion, since some of the educational material will be placed outdoors. In addition, you can see objects in display cases through the big pavilion windows, and also see a TV screen with pictures of the latest developments from the Castle Project.

The info pavilion will open on Friday, September 28 at 4:00 PM, and will, upon that occasion, be open until 5:00 PM.
