Christmas in the King’s Food Cupboard.
Christmas in the Old Royal Town also means Christmas in the King’s Food Cupboard. When Christmas came the King’s Food Cupboard was filled with food of the best quality from half of Funen – It was needed for the King to throw a proper royal Christmas feast.
Come by when we carve the fatted Christmas pig like in the olden days when the King’s Christmas feast was prepared. We will serve the cooked meat the following weekend (December 9). Come and have a taste!
